Once you're ready to reserve a kitten, the process is simple:

1. Reach out to us to let us know which kitten you’re interested in or what traits you're looking for.
    
2. We’ll schedule a phone call or FaceTime so you can meet us and the kittens and feel completely comfortable.
    
3. When you’re ready to move forward, you’ll place the $500 reservation deposit to officially hold your kitten.
    
4. We’ll provide updates, photos, videos, and a pickup/delivery timeline as your kitten grows.
    
5. When your kitten is ready to go home, the remaining balance is due at pickup or delivery.

We keep our pricing transparent and consistent:

• Standard & Elf-Eared Kittens: $2,000
   
• Blue-Eyed Kittens: $2,500
   
• Odd-Eyed Kittens: $3,000+ (varies based on intensity)
   

Sphynx cats are a specialty breed that require significant investment, ethical breeding practices, and extensive health screening. At Windy City Sphynx, we invest heavily in:

• Imported, high-quality Russian bloodlines known for health, structure, and temperament
   
• Genetic testing and DNA panels for all breeding cats
   
• Regular HCM screening for our queens and studs
   
• Premium nutrition, enrichment, and veterinary care for both parents and kittens
   

These costs ensure that every kitten we raise is healthy, well-socialized, and comes from strong, clean bloodlines.

Our $500 reservation deposit ensures that the kitten you choose is officially held for you and removed from availability. Sphynx kittens are in very high demand, and the deposit helps us guarantee that each baby has a committed home. This deposit goes toward your final balance and is non-refundable. Once your deposit is placed, we begin preparing your kitten’s records, care plan, and timeline for pick-up or delivery.

We completely understand, and honestly—we’re glad you’re cautious! There are many scams in the Sphynx world, and you should do your research before sending money to any breeder.

Yes! We offer safe, professional delivery with a trusted flight nanny. There is an additional $500 fee to cover airline costs, travel supplies, and nanny fees. We will coordinate all arrangements and keep you updated throughout the entire travel process.

We operate out of two locations in the Chicagoland area. Our main city location is in the South Loop of Chicago, and we also have a suburban location in Arlington Heights, just outside the city. Our cattery is a family partnership—Svetlana and her daughter-in-law work together, and both of us have queens and raise kittens in our homes. This allows us to give every litter plenty of attention, socialization, and hands-on care while keeping our kittens raised in clean, loving environments

While all of our queens and studs are HCM-cleared, it is extremely important for new owners to continue annual HCM scans throughout their cat’s life. HCM can develop later on, even in lines with clean history, so yearly echocardiograms with a cardiologist are the gold standard for keeping your Sphynx safe and healthy.
